Danny Plass-Oude Bos is a PhD student at the Human Media Interaction group, at the University of Twente. After a bachelor in Computer Science, she gained experience in brain-computer interfaces by looking at artifact detection in an online EEG system at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, followed by a master thesis on the user experience of using BCI for games (2008).
At the moment, she is investigating how BCI can be made easier to control, and how to make it match user expectations better. Her research interests include: usability and user experience, brain-computer interaction, but also other 'magical' interfaces, such as touch and gestures.
Danny Plass is involved in BrainGain (2008-2014), and part of the CTIT SRO NICE. Her advisors are Dr. Mannes Poel, Dr. Femke Nijboer, and Prof. dr. ir. Anton Nijholt.
