He teaches:
  • Mathematics for Human Media Interaction MSc students: formal languages and automata theory, logic and probability theory and research methods and statistics for social research.
  • Speech and language processing: mathematical models and application of statistical methods
  • Conversation analysis, dialogue systems and conversational agents
  • Artificial Intelligence: reasoning under uncertainty, Bayesian networks and inferencing.
  • Research Methodology: a critical analysis of a research tradition in which experimental and statistical methods that have been succesfully applied in natural sciences are applied in socio-psychology studies and in human machine interaction studies.
He has experience in research into: multi-modal dialogue systems, conversational discourse analysis and natural language engineering, mediated communication.
