The research is about integrating motion capture in the existing project of ASAP, for the purpose of selecting bodyparts from a virtual agent that mimicks or synchronizes the behaviour (motion) of the user with the mocap suit. This can lead to a research on how approachable or likeable a virtual agent is when the agent is mimicking the user in a conversation. Or it can lead to a research on how to interact and synchronize with the user's behaviour; for example, the vitual agent can react to the user and can play rock paper scissors with the user and apply the same hand motions. Or if a user wants to grab an object, the virtual agent may try to steal the object before the user can grab it.
