Description

These three movies show the current status of the VMR.
first movie The first movie shows the basic idea of a 3D virtual meeting room wherein the user can e.g. follow a meeting via several viewpoints and alter some of the visible components, such as addressee annotations and speaking time percentage.
DVMR This movie shows the VMR as an application for remote meeting participation. The participants are observed at their remote site and their gestures are replayed in the VMR on one of the avatars. The avatars represent this way a participant. In a next edition a headmounted display on the remote locations will give the participants a real sense of presence in the virtual meeting, as the viewpoint can be placed exactly in the avatars eyes.
Browser Here the VMR is shown in a meeting browser application that is able to replay a meeting using NXT annotations. In the near future the idea lives to extend the browser with a query interface.
